Overview:

The coast offer a lot of amazing nature.
On this trip we missed the sun and had constant northly cold wind.
A nice, but cold holiday.

1st stage:
Kristiansund - Baardseth island.

First stage went from home port to Kristiansund for bunkering water and fuel. Continued to Baardset island. Here we stayed 2 days and we had sunny and summerly weather.
Here we were able to dive and clean the bottom of the boat. After we dobbled the speed.

2nd stage:
Baardseth island - Hemnskjel

Second stage we went from Baardseth island to Hemnskjel. We stopped in Kuvika, it said possible 4 guest places, but not possible for a cat. We continued to Hemnskjel. A lot of tourism there, mostly germans who liked fishing. The marina wasn´t good northly wind, and we stayed only one night. The sun had dissapeared, gale from north and 11 deg.

3rd stage:
Hemnskjel - Kongsvoll

Third stage was a very short one. We went from Hemnskjel to Kongensvoll marina. The marina was well protected from all kind of wind.

4th stage:
Kongsvoll - Brekstad

Forth stage went from Kongsvoll to Brekstad. The sun was absent, and the northly gale continued. We stayed in Brekstad two days. The weather reports didn´t come up with any change of weather, and we decided not to go any longer north. Gale from north, cloudy and not more than 11 deg. wasn´t any encouragement to continue north.

Speedboat: Brekstad - Trondheim - Kristiansund

5th stage:
Brekstad - Børsa

Fifth stage went from Brekstad to Børsa. Børsa had a good marina, and we stayed 3 days. Fishing gave us a good meal with mackerel. The wind decreased and we continued to Trondheim.

Unsafe to be mackerel in Børsa with this fish hunter.

6th stage:
Børsa - Trondheim

Munkholmen.
Place of execusion before 1100. The severed heads of Håkon Jarl and Kark were placed on stakes here by Olav Tryggvason in 995.
Monastery from 1100 - 1537. Later fort and prison. Today muesum.

Nidaros Cathedral was founded in 1070 and finished about 1300.

7th stage:
Trondheim - Brekstad

Seventh stage went from Trondheim and back to Brekstad. We took a roundabout the Munkholmen before leaving Trondheim.

8th stage:
Brekstad - Brøttingsvågen

Eight stage went from Brekstad to Brøttingsvågen. Brøttingsvågen is a small fjord in Fjellværøya. Here we had very good shelter of all kind of wind. Even the sun appeared, and we had a nice stay at anchor.

9th stage:
Brøttingsvågen - Knarren (Knarrlagsyndet)

Ninth stage went from our small fjord to Knarren in Knarrlagsundet. Knarren is a very nice marina on Ulvøya. A lot of boats stopps here. The marina has shop, bar and restaurant.
We tried to pass under the bridge of Ansnes, but we hadn´t enough clearence. The bridge is 16m and we are 17m. Even on low tide we had to turn.
Most bridges are 16m, that is a navy regulation.
